Job Description
I. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Perform dimensional measurements for product samples (CP, FA, routine, and ad-hoc samples) in accordance with engineering drawings, Work Instructions (WI), SOPs, and Control Plans.
- Operate and maintain measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, optical microscopes, VMS, and CMM (if applicable).
- Ensure measurement conditions (equipment status, environment, timing, and methods) comply with defined requirements.
- Accurately record, analyze, and report measurement results with full traceability.
- Identify, evaluate, and promptly escalate:
- Out-of-specification (NG) measurement results
- Abnormal or inconsistent measurement data
- Risks related to non-compliance or improper measurement practice
- Coordinate with Production and relevant departments to resolve measurement and quality issues.
- Strictly comply with QMS requirements, safety regulations, and data integrity principles.
II. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required
- Final-year student
- Available to work full-time during working shifts for at least 4 days per week
- Strong interest in quality systems, including QC, QA, PE, and measurement activities
- Basic knowledge of:
- Dimensional measurement, tolerances, and GD&T fundamentals
- CP/CPK concepts and sampling requirements
- Work Instructions (WI), SOPs, and Control Plan structures
- Proficient in using precision measurement instruments
Optional
- College or Bachelor’s degree in:
- Industrial Engineering or Quality Management, or
- Other related engineering disciplines
- Detail-oriented, careful, and highly responsible
- Ability to work under time pressure and manage high sample volumes
- Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong awareness of risk management
