I. RANGE OF DUTIES:

Development responsible for engineering projects run in VN

• Leads product development and integrate with process development using Lean Product Development method and Sonion Development Methodology (SDM) in order to bring the product to released status within the committed timeline and with the committed quality level and product cost.
• Works closely together with Project manager, Process development engineer, Production engineer, Quality engineer, Application engineer, and R&D Engineer in Europe where needed
• Gives input to project manager about the feasibility, timeline, and risks regarding the technical part of the project.
• Responsible for the R&D deliverables defined by the Milestone system.

Responsible Development Engineer for projects transferred from Europe from design freeze to product release.

• Is early involved in the development project as contributor to the process/product concept choice. Input to the process feasibility of the concepts for production, inputs to the design FMEA, evaluates development samples produced in Vietnam. Together with process development engineer drives the product to release status.
• Conducts product failure analysis in cooperation with process development engineer and production engineering. Drives all development related failure modes to a conclusion and implements the corrective actions.
• Takes care of deliverables/project tasks before the design freeze if the work packages are within the engineer’s competences and agreed on in the project team.

Development representative for released platforms and product variants

• Is the first contact point as R&D support for the released platforms and variants regarding changes in

Responsible for development samples

• Executes sample requests from R&D in Europe for development project with existing production equipment in VN with committed timeline and quality requirements
• Cooperates with Prototype Engineer, process development engineer and designer of industrialization in VN for making first article samples in engineering projects run from VN

II. FORMAL REQUIREMENTS:

1.Education: University degree in Technical majors or  Master degree is preferrable

2.Knowledge of computer servicing: Microsoft Office, SolidWorks

3.Knowledge of foreign languages:

Proficient in both writing and verbal English ( equivalent to IELTS 7.0+)

4.Other (e.g. competences):

• Team player, open minded, honest, target driven
• Transducer (or product) knowledge

5.Professional experience: 5+ years working experience in Engineering.
