I. RANGE OF DUTIES:

1. New Product Introduction: Product launches by implementation of new processes/ operations/ equipment in production

• Lead automation solution success in mass production within committed timeline and with committed quality level and product
• Work closely with Project manager, Process Development engineer, Industrialization team and Quality engineer.
• Give inputs to project manager about the feasibility, timeline, and risks regarding the New Product Implementation (NPI) perspective
• Review technical assessments of the work packages in the project charter relate to NPI.
• Early involvement in Automatic projects as contributor to the automatic machine concept choice. Input to the Equipment FMEA
• Conduct failure analysis in cooperation with Equipment engineering and Process engineering.
• Responsible for machine design review and machine validation to release automation solution for mass production
• Involve in sample development, sample build in case automation support needed
• Take responsibility for the NPI deliverables in the automation project
• Contribute to the creation of overall ramp up scenario.
• Lead person to improve quality and yield from pre-production till released (M3 to M4)

2. Second line technical support for operations on product, process, and equipment

• Is the first contact point for Knowledge Status of current production line
• Identify areas for improvement based on cost analysis (including yield, efficiency, and material consumption)
• Drive production process improvement by implementation of technology improvement or running process improvement projects
• Implement equipment improvements (in cooperation and by instruction of SE)

3. Coaching: Coach and mentor assigned new production engineers

II. FORMAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Education: University degree, Technical. Master’s degree is Preferable

2. Professional experience: 

- Over 5 years working experience before joining Sonion

- Preferred: 3-5 years Sonion working experience in Engineering

3. Knowledge of foreign languages: IELTS at 6+ level or equal
