Job Description
I. RANGE OF DUTIES:
This position is to develop and bring to the higher level together with person leading Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Providing training and expertise of MES application to maintain and optimize MES functionalities in production.
- Function as 1 level MES contact related to MES requests from all Sonion entities.
- Solve daily tasks related to MES system maintenance (related to data integrity).
- Solve daily tasks related to MES batch jobs maintenance.
- Solve daily MES tasks coming from the MES helpdesk system.
- Make user guides, system document and MES functionality.
- Perform to train new colleagues and operators (end users).
- Able to configure/ tweak system to adapt with manufacturing requirements.
- Senior level of Business Intelligent tool (BI) deployment to end users.
- Support on guide, trouble shoot, report on users’ daily tasks related to MES requests from all Sonion entities as the follow:
- AIP (AIO touch screen) operation
- SMA (tablet) operation
- MOC operation
- And MES equipment (AIO touch screen, tablet, printers, and machine connection box) operation
- Support on MES resources management related to users and equipment:
- MES server
- Installation software on MES equipment
- Support improvement activities of other department by using MES functionality/ data management.
- Self-improving competences of the team/ contribute to improve competences of the team.
- Support to standardize system through MES application in manufacturing environment.
- Employee is responsible in proactively receive, search, learn and comply with prevailing law and company regulation which are communicated via internal information channels including broadcasting, email, SBS (Sonion Business System), notice board and electronic notice in every areas. This content includes but not limited to ISO on Quality Management, Environment, Occupation Health & Safety, Code of conduct and Corporate Social Responsibility, Labor safety and Fire Prevention and Fighting, Work Rule and Employee Handbook and other internal regulations.
Attending concerned training courses of QMS–ISO 9001, EMS-ISO 14001, OH&SMS-ISO45001 where required.
- Other tasks are assigned by supervisor.
Managing training:
- Planning, papering organizing and leading training.
- Planning, organizing training materials.
- Taking care of training equipment/ software application
II. FORMAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education: College graduate (IT/ industrial).
Preferred: University industrial manufacturing/ automation major/ IT hardware
2. Professional knowledge of:
- Basic understanding of purchasing cost concept
- Lean knowledge.
- Familiarity with product and manufacturing process .
- Trainer skills.
- Understand that employees must perform according to SBS which was built according to the ISO systems.
- Basic operate and troubleshoot IT equipment’s (network) knowledge.
3. Professional experience:
- At least 1- 2 years’ experience in industrial management, automation, kaizen documents.
- Preferred: Working in production environment ~1 – 2 years.
4. Knowledge of foreign languages:
- Good in reading and writing skill.
- Basic in speaking and listening skill.
