I. Job Description
- Contribute to an efficient running of the environmental regulations processes by giving a structured approach to the setting up, retrieving and the initial analysis of compliance data and materials used in products.
- Organize and send out mailings to relevant suppliers for retrieving compliance information
- Input compliance data into relevant systems
- Support compliance questions (internal & external)
- Arrange testing of materials at external laboratories
- Check and update all information of adhesives/chemicals in Dynamics
- Administrate Environmental Management System according to QC 080000 (objectives, audits, management review, follow up)
- Employee is responsible in proactively receive, search, learn and comply with prevailing law and company regulation which are communicated via internal information channels including broadcasting, email, SBS (Sonion Business System), notice board and electronic notice in every areas. This content includes but not limited to: ISO on Quality Management, Environment, Occupation Health & Safety, Code of conduct and Corporate Social Responsibility, Labor safety and Fire Prevention and Fighting, Work Rule and Employee Handbook and other internal regulations.
Attending concerned training courses of QMS–ISO 9001, EMS-ISO 14001, OH&SMS-ISO45001 where required.
II. Job Requirements
1. Education: B.Sc of Engineering (chemistry, environmental management)
2. Experience: At least 2 years on engineer level for chemistry industry
3. Professional Knowledge
- Knowledge of chemistry/analytical techniques (theoretical knowledge sufficient)
- Quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TQM, Quality Systems in production)
- Basic understanding of Sonion Business System and ISO systems:
- Know about the Quality& Environment Policy (what they are about and where they are posted or filed)
4. Fluent in English
5. Knowledge of computer servicing: General proficiency of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, ERP
